The Villainess Movie Review

WE found this Movie Review skewered to a tree by a Viking axe.

The blood on it was fresh.

 No we didn’t.
The Intern gave it to the mad Swede at the end of the corridor.
This is translated from Swedish.
“The film stole my eyeballs from the opening kill fest.
You, yes you, the viewer are the POV, gamer style, and you shoot, slip, dodge and stab your way into a building of bad men all trying to shoot, slice and kill you. It’s a mission, a Raid Style rampage, a KillBill slaughter house.

Visceral, graphic, hyper real…whatever, blah blah, it is good, better than good.

The hyper violence continues as our heroine is locked up in Assassin finishing school, learns Hamlet with a whiff of Kingsman, how to cook, ballet dance and, of course, how to kill.

The quieter moments are literally pregnant pauses, and having a baby is merely a prelude to more martial mayhem… a baby at Killer Academy???

Why not?

The slaughter continues and the misogynistic boys, in fact anyone who gets in her way is terminated with extreme blood letting.

There are a lot of double crosses, flashbacks, death, flashbacks, mayhem, a love story(??), of course why not(???) trained killers have feelings too, flashbacks, double crosses, blood, slaughter and a brutal end.
Did I mention the motorbike sword fight? What about fountains of blood?

 That it’s on BluRay?

That it looks way better than a download or streamed?

It is simply awesome for your eyes, awesome for your ears.

This is what it says on the box.  It is correct.
Sook-hee (Kim Ok-bin, Thirst) is a trained assassin who takes revenge on the men who murdered her father in a breathtaking opening sequence.

After losing consciousness she awakes at the National Intelligence Service who recruit her as an agent to undertake confidential missions.

Initially refusing, Sook-hee soon realises it is her only method of escape, until she is given a new assignment that suddenly changes everything…

 Stop whinging and watch.

They’re baddies, probably everyone is, so it’s ok.

Kenny from South Park isn’t in it and doesn’t die. OMG.”
