Spirit to Power

SPIRIT TO POWER is a heartwarming account of the experiences of Martial artists within the spiritual side of Martial Arts, and how their dedication won them World titles, Hollywood roles and even an Olympics Gold. The film also supports challenged Martial Artists, such as TV actor Matt Fraser who suffers from Thalidomide and Al Gannon, a blind swordsman, to show it is for everyone not just the fit. Additionally, it actively encourages women and children to try Martial Arts.
The male and female polarities of expression (Yin and Yang) are explored in a theatrical way, within a multi-combination of techniques from various disciplines (such as Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi, Kobudo, Kick Boxing, Karate and Japanese Sword). It aims to make Martial Arts understood in a completely holistic way. It looks at ‘esoteric’ and scientifically cutting edge components, that make ‘us’ up as a life force, including mind power, the meridian and chakra system and human energy field.
