Chinese Flail Form

The expert hands of Shaolin Monk Yan Xiu showcase the Chinese flail. Devastating action.
The Chinese flail or the Three Sectional Staff, also known as Sam Jeet Kwun or Sanjiegun, consists of three wooden or metal poles connected by metal rings or rope. Designed for defence against spears and other long weapons. Similar to the nunchaku, the flail can be spun to deliver a devastating strike, or their articulation can be used to strike over or around a shield or other defensive block.
